I think teens are better represented in literature then now. Now, we have all the stereotypes that define who society thinks we really are. We are represented as the insecure, lazy rebels that only show our mistakes we have made or the minority of teens who are really insecure, lazy rebels. In literature, they depict teens as kids who make mistakes, but always know how to solve their problems in the end. They are set on the idea that through the mistakes they make, they are growing and becoming more mature.
